Since 1989, Texstar Enterprises, Inc. has provided
professional outside plant construction and inside cabling of
telecommunications, fiber optics and CATV construction for major
national and independent companies throughout Texas and several of the
continental United States.
Texstar Enterprises is based in San Antonio, Texas and began as a small,
two Aerial Crew, construction company operated by its owner Christopher
G. Howard under the name CGH Construction. As the company grew,
diversified and gained a small reputation in central Texas, Mr. Howard
decided to incorporate in 1991, at which time he changed the company's
name to Texstar Enterprises, Inc.
In 1994, Mr.William Baldwin joined Texstar Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Baldwin
brought with him his skills, knowledge and experience with several major
companies. Together Mr. Howard and Mr. Baldwin have worked to expand to
a company with over 150 employees, a large fleet of Bucket Trucks and an
extensive inventory of underground and directional boring equipment.
